Orlando Hotels

  • Depending on your purpose for visiting, learning more about Orlando will help you determine what hotel or resort is right for you. We highly recommend familiarizing yourself with Orlando’s metro areas before searching hotels, resorts, vacation home rentals and campgrounds.

    Orlando’s International Drive, Convention Center
    and Universal Orlando Area

Along Orlando’s famous International Drive corridor visitors will find many hotels that range in price from under $50 upwards to $300 or more per night. This area is also well known for the Orlando Orange County Convention Center, as well as an abundant selection of shops, restaurants, and small themed attractions. There are several resorts and hotels located on or near Universal Orlando property. If you plan on visiting Orlando’s many major theme parks including Universal Orlando, SeaWorld, and the Walt Disney World Resort parks this area is an excellent choice. We recommend checking with your hotel or resort before booking to see if theme park shuttles are available. However, because the Orlando Metro area is widespread, we highly recommended renting a car and a GPS device.

Kissimmee’s Highway 192, Lake Buena Vista
and Walt Disney World Resort Area

There are several hotel, resort and home rental choices to be found along Kissimmee’s Highway 192 corridor, many with considerably low rates. Similar to Orlando’s International Drive, Highway 192 is lined with many lodging properties ranging in price to meet all budgets. Choosing accommodations between State Road 535 and Highway 27 will keep you in close range to all that the area has to offer, including the Walt Disney World Resort parks, gift shops, restaurants, dinner shows and Kissimmee’s well known Old Town Theme Park.

Lake Buena Vista is home to several upscale resorts and family style hotels and is just outside Walt Disney World Resort gates. By staying in this area you will be just minutes from Downtown Disney and Disney’s famous theme parks. Also situated near-by is Orlando Premium Outlets, offering major discounts on name brand apparel and more.

Within the gates of the Walt Disney World Resort area you will find outstanding resorts that meet all that you would imagine a Disney Resort experience would have to offer. All of the resorts in this area offer shuttles to and from each theme park as well as Downtown Disney. Many of them offer packages that include your Disney theme park tickets. On property you will also find the Shades of Green, an Armed Forces Recreation Center (AFRC) and destination resort.

    Orlando International Airport
    and Florida Mall Area

The Orlando International Airport hotels are a great choice if you’re here on business or just need a place to lay your head before an outgoing flight. Hotels found near the Florida Mall will yield great bargains, and are just a 20 minute drive to Orlando’s International Drive corridor. Both areas will put you just outside all the action, however with a rental car you’ll be located close to the 528 Beach Line (Toll Road), which will quickly lead you to International Drive, Interstate 4 (for easy access to the Disney parks), or if you head East it’s just a 35 minute drive to Cocoa Beach and the Kennedy Space Center Complex.
